WE HAVE DECIDED TO HAVE A SABBATICAL NEXT YEAR AND THE HALL WILL NOT OPEN IN 2011.
HOWEVER, WE SHALL STILL OPEN THE GARDEN FOR HERITAGE OPEN DAYS IN SEPTEMBER,
AND WE SHALL KEEP THE WEB SITE UP TO DATE

LONGLEY OPEN DAYS

During 2010 the Hall will open for pre-booked guided tours on the following days:

Easter           Sunday 4th and Monday 5th April

Summer       Sunday 29th and Monday 30th August

Christmas    Monday 27th to Thursday 30th December

Viewing is by appointment only. Please telephone for available times and to make bookings. Tours take about an hour and half. Light refreshments are available.

There is a small shop selling pewter, facsimile early pottery and books, polish, and other items.

The cost is  £6 per person, excluding refreshments.

The Barn

We have completed the work on the barn and and now have a sizeable area available for indoor gatherings and eating. We have moved the shop items and historical artefacts here and this provides much more room for viewing these.

Group Visits

In winter, for groups of between 15 and 25 people we shall be pleased to arrange evening candlelit tours of the Hall at a cost of £10 per person. Visitors may bring drinks and light refreshments (finger food only).

During daylight in summer we can accommodate groups of up to 50.

Please go to the Group Visits page for details of the facilities available for group visits.

Individual and small groups tours

By special arrangement. We have received requests for tours from small groups, and from individuals who cannot come on Open Days. We are happy to accommodate these and there is a minimum charge of £50 that includes up to 5 people, and then £10 per person thereafter.

Talks

As a result of a couple of societies asking us to give talks to their members we now offer illustrated talks on the renovation of the hall and the construction of the garden. The cost depends on the travelling distance, but if you would like more details please telephone.

Please telephone 01484 430852 for more information and to make reservations.
